Street children

In the most of the town area, we see some children involving in the works such as collecting plastics materials, instead of going to school, they are called street children. People know them as 'khate'. They have no father, mother and own house. The street is the home to live, school to learn things, field to work them. All the day they collect old plastics, cans, bottles, tins etc. and sell them in the wasted materials collecting centers and earn some money to have meal.

Teej

Teej is one of the greatest festivals of Hindu women. Specially married Hindu women celebrate it. First of all they takes a bath and they wear a beautiful clothes with ornaments in their parents home. they worship lord Shiva and pray for good health long life of their husbands. Even some unmarried girls have a fast. They worship lord Shiva and pray for good and lovely husband in future. In the midnight of previous day they eat various kinds of foods as as special meal 'DAR'. The day of Teej they go to the temples of lord Shiva and worship and then they sing and dance freely. The festivals gives a message of heartly love and devotness of a Hindu women towards her beloved husband.  

Women education

Education means the development of mental powers. Similarly, 'Women education' means the development of  women s power. In the same way it means the development of the country. Men and women are the two wheels of the life carriage. Both of them need aright movement in a right balance. A women can do more things than a man can. The nature has  given a good capacity to do thing accurately when she a good education.

Democracy

Democracy is a political system in which the citizens of a state rule themselves their representatives. It is opposed to autocracy, communism and despotism. It has its own social and behavioral and aspects. From the point of view of democracy, every person is considered equal. It guards the human rights.

Television

Television is the of sending and receiving pictures and by means of electronic signals transmitted through wires and optical fib res or by electromagnetic radiation. The "tele" means far and "vision" means sight of something. Thus, the composite word 'Television' means the sight that can be from the far distance.

Our festival"Holi"

The Holi is one of the greatest festival of colours. It falls on the full moon day of Falgun. So, it is also called 
'Fagu jatra'. It is also celebrated in the terai. But nowadays loved all over Nepal.

My village

My village name is Harakpur. It is situated Bayarban-8 of Morang district. About five thousands people have been living in my village. Among them Brahmans, Chhetris, Rais, Limbus, Tamang, Gurungs are the main castes. This village is full of Hindus and Christians.

My village is developing village of Morang district. Gravelled motor-able road has already been constructed throughout. The village and other developing projects are being added.
